NFL weekly usage: who got the carries, targets and snaps, team by team

Every team's backfield split and target tree for the week, with the full card one tap away. Updated the morning after each game day; weeks are kept as posted. Usage, not projections.

What the numbers mean

RB opportunity share (Opp)
A back's carries plus targets, as a share of all running back carries and targets on his team.
Target share and aDOT
His share of the team's targets, and the average air yards on those targets (how far downfield he is used).
i10 and 2-min
Carries plus targets inside the opponent's 10, and with two minutes or less left in either half.
Snaps and arrows
Share of the offense's snaps. Arrows show the change in percentage points from the previous week.
Pass rate over expected
How much more (or less) often the team threw than an average team would in the same down, distance and score.
RZ, 3rd tgt, EPA, Succ
Carries plus targets inside the 20; targets on third down; expected points added per carry or target; the share of them that gained expected points.
YBC, YAC, drops
Yards before and after contact per carry, and drops, as charted by Pro Football Reference. They post game by game, usually a day or two after.
RYOE, 8+box, Sep
From the league's player tracking (Next Gen Stats): rush yards over what an average back gains from the same spot, the share of carries into eight or more defenders, and a receiver's average separation at the catch point. Only backs with 10+ carries and receivers with 5+ targets are published.
Rostered, and "on the wire with a real role"
The share of ESPN leagues where a player is rostered or started, today. The week view lists players with a real share of their team's work who are still rostered in under half of leagues.
Where the snaps come from
Pro Football Reference's counts via nflverse; until that file has the week, Sleeper's snap counts (they agree to the point where we checked). The week line says which.
What is not here
Routes run, route share, targets and yards per route run, and slot rate need charted film data that is not free during the season.

Play-by-play and player data from nflverse (CC BY 4.0); snap counts, drops and contact yards from Pro Football Reference and tracking stats from NFL Next Gen Stats, both via nflverse; snap counts also from Sleeper; rostered % from ESPN. Two-point tries, kneel-downs and sacks are left out. Made by @BrenBuilds.
